Delete your Alselene account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Alselene app (Android package com.alselene.app), developed by Hanan Ghanem, publishing as Alselene, and what happens to your data when you do.

Delete in the app

Open Alselene and sign in.
Go to Settings → Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Delete without the app

Email hananreal399@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, using the subject line "Delete my Alselene account". We will delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email. If you write from a different address, we will ask you to verify that the account is yours before deleting it.

What is deleted

Your profile, email address, display name and full birth name
Your birth date, birth time, birthplace and calculated chart
Your Shadow Journal entries, including mood and body notes, and your career timing notes
Your Altar saves, card pulls and favourites
Your Mini Book library, credits and unlocked content
Your subscription status and entitlements stored by Alselene

What is kept, and for how long

Order and billing records are kept for up to 7 years after the transaction to meet tax and accounting obligations. Your account ID is removed from these records when you delete your account, so they no longer link to your profile. Nothing else is kept.

Your Google Play subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. To stop future charges, cancel in the Google Play Store: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Alselene → Cancel subscription, or visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Chart calculations

Chart calculations sent to our ephemeris provider, Open Ephemeris, contain only your birth date, birth time, birthplace coordinates and time zone, never your name, email or account ID. Chart results are stored only in Alselene's own database and are deleted with your account.

Delete only some data

You can delete individual journal entries in the app without deleting your account. For any other partial deletion, email hananreal399@gmail.com and tell us what you would like removed.

Waitlist

If you joined the alselene.com waitlist and want your email removed, use the unsubscribe link in any Alselene email or write to hananreal399@gmail.com.
